Miracle House getting paint

September is Fresh Paint Days, a statewide program to Keep Oklahoma Beautiful. Women’s Outreach for Hope Miracle House will receive a new coat of paint.

Miracle House has been in operation since 2005 and is a home for underprivileged women. Executive Director Renee Hobbs welcomes the fresh paint.

“Everyone wants to be a part of something that looks good. Both the community that supports us and the women who live at this facility would appreciate a freshly painted house.” The paint was donated by H.I.S. Coatings of Oklahoma and a stipend from Public Service Company of Oklahoma.

Women’s Outreach for Hope is one of 21 groups competing in Fresh Paint Days, in the month of September, for the “Best Visual Impact” award in a KOB contest called “Communities Primed for Change.” Finalists will be chosen on before and after results. The award will be made Nov. 1.

KOB is a statewide not for profit to keep the state clean and enhance its natural beauty.
