SALINA, OK — After a 5-3 win over Locust Grove Saturday, Salina took down foes Monday and Tuesday to string together three straight victories for the second time this season.

The Lady 'Cats put up double-digit run totals in wins over Foyil (13-0) and Chelsea (10-7) to set up a match today at Westville at 1 p.m.

Salina's longest winning streak this season was a four-game tear in late August, including wins at Ketchum, at home against Foyil and a doubleheader win at South Coffeyville. The combined run total in those games was 53-2 in Salina's favor.

The Lady Wildcats are now 10-8 on the season.

Lady Warriors cruise past Ketchum

Adair's Lady Warrior softball team smashed Ketchum 10-1 in a home contest Tuesday to improve to 12-9 on the season.

The Lady Warriors bounced back from a 4-2 Monday loss to Cleveland to nab the Tuesday victory.

Next up for Adair is a trip northwest to take on Nowata and Webster at Nowata today.
