CLAREMORE, OK —
Pryor edged Sallisaw and pounded Catoosa Thursday at the Coweta-Claremore Invitational to improve to 9-6.
The Tigerettes took an 8-7 decision from the Lady Diamonds to open the day before walloping the Lady Indians 12-0.
Pryor did continue its trend of losing games by one run, dropping a 3-2 contest to Miami Thursday. All six of Pryor's losses this year have been by one run.
The Tigerettes will close the tournament Saturday against Durant at 10:30 a.m.
Pryor, 3-1 in District 5A-3, will resume district play Monday at home against Tahlequah at 5 p.m.
