PRYOR, OK —
The Pryor Tiger soccer team was hit with a 5-1 loss at the hands of the Rogers (Ark.) Mounties Saturday afternoon at Rogers, while the Lady Mounties escaped with a 1-0 win over the Lady Tigers.
Rogers blasted Pryor keeper Jacob Rhymer for three goals in the first half. Freshman midfielder Colby Debo scored the Tigers only goal of the day in the first half.
Rhymer recorded 11 saves on the day for the 1-2 Tigers.
In the girls' match, a late Rogers goal sealed the win for the Lady Mounties. Pryor goalkeeper Elizabeth Anderson notched 10 saves.
The Lady Tigers also sit at 1-2 on the season.
Both the Pryor boys and girls are off until March 28, when they will host the Tulsa Memorial Chargers to begin their district schedules. Kickoff times are slated for 6 p.m. (girls) and 8 p.m. (boys).
The Locust Grove girls are off until a March 26 contest at Tahlequah before beginning district play April 2 at Inola.
