PRYOR, OK —
Salina (1-1) at Chelsea (0-2), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Week 1's result: Inola 36, Chelsea 0. Week 2's result: Salina 28, Inola 0. The transitive property dictates Salina beats Chelsea by nine touchdowns, but there's a reason they play the games. SHS head coach Kyle Fowler said as much after their win over the Longhorns: "We can't look at scores. We've got to keep getting better in each facet of the game." After holding Inola to just 75 yards of total offense, including -19 rushing yards, the 'Cats should win their second straight in imposing fashion — but maybe not by 60 points.
Bold Prediction: Salina 46, Chelsea 6
Chouteau (1-1) at Porter (1-1), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Chouteau embarks on its second of three consecutive road trips Friday when they battle Porter, 45-8 losers to the 'Cats in 2012. Depew embarrassed Porter 46-8 to open the season before the Pirates snatched a 14-7 win at Drumright. If the Wildcats can avoid making big mistakes and allowing big plays through the air (CHS gave up almost 400 yards last week to Summit Christian), they could claim their second non-district win of the year.
Bold Prediction: Chouteau 40, Porter 18
Chuck's Week 2 Picks: 5-0
