Three Tigers to play in All-State game

PRYOR, OK — Three Pryor soccer seniors were named to All-State teams and will represent the Tigers Friday in the 2014 Oklahoma Soccer Coaches Association All-State games.

Karissa Aubrey, Sarah Due and Corey Horton each picked up honors

"I'm proud of all three," boys and girls head coach Kirk Emerine said. "They've been important to our program the last four years."

Aubrey was the Tigerettes' leading goal-scorer in 2013 before suffering a knee injury midway through the 2014 season. She scored five goals her senior season. Aubrey plans to play at Rose State College in Midwest City.

Due played along the back line for the Tigerettes and was the heart of the Pryor defense, helping the Tigerettes to an 8-4 record and a berth in the Class 5A playoffs in 2014.

Horton was a four-year player for Emerine. He led the Tigers in goals (4) and points (8) in 2014. Horton will pursue a military career with the Marines.

The OSCA All-State girls and boys games will be played Friday at Muskogee High School.
