Wildcats fall to Comets on road

CHOUTEAU — Chouteau lost to Kansas in overtime on the road Friday, 66-64.

The two teams previous matchup had the same outcome.

“The team is a bit down right now about the loss,” said Head Coach Travis Wheeler. “They’re mad about it and they’ll fight back.”

The Wildcats have lost six games by a total of 13 points.

Senior Jordan Shive led scorers with 21 points and senior Travis Brannon had 11. Senior Jason Couch dropped 10 and sophomores Arlis Aslip and Isaac Carter had eight apiece.

Chouteau will play Westville in the first round of the Bank of Locust Grove Invitational Tournament Jan. 8.
