Regional track assignments set

PRYOR, OK — Area tracksters now know where they will compete for spots in their respective state meets, according to a release from the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association.

Stars Jaqwuan Blaylock, Jabar Bennett and Scott Hill will lead Pryor to Tahlequah High School May 10 for a Class 5A regional meet. Tahlequah is one of four regional host sites for Class 5A.

Catoosa, Coweta, Tulsa East Central, Tulsa Edison, Glenpool, McAlester, Tulsa Memorial and Stilwell are also slated to visit Tahlequah.

The Class 5A state meet is May 16-17 at Yukon High School.

Locust Grove athletes will travel to Oologah May 3 for a Class 4A regional assignment.

Chouteau will send its athletes to Oologah May 3 as well for a Class 2A meet.

In Class 3A, Adair and Salina will head to Metro Christian for a regional meet.

The Class 4A/3A combined state meet will be May 9-10 at Moore High School. Carl Albert High School in Midwest City will host the 2A state meet.
