PRYOR, OK —
Pryor’s Alyissa Harry poured in a game-high 16 points but the Tigerettes fell apart down the stretch, dropping a 51-42 decision to Metro Lakes rival Coweta Friday at the Burdick Center.
Pryor cut a 10-point Coweta lead to six late in the fourth quarter but could not find enough scoring in the late going, missing seven of their 11 attempts from the stripe in the fourth quarter. The Tigerettes finished just 10-of-23 (43 percent) from the line on the night.
Freshman Hunter Gilstrap rained three treys on her way to 13 points for Pryor, which will host Grove Monday before beginning postseason play Thursday at Class 5A No. 2 East Central.
Sophomore Sammy Gordon chipped in five points for the Tigerettes, while forwards Bailee Hillman and Rachel Zumstein each posted four points.
Courtney Haas’ four 3-pointers and 14 points were both game-highs.
