MIAMI, OK —
Pryor took home a silver finish in the boys 4A/5A division at a track meet in Miami Thursday.
The Adair girls were also runners-up in the Class 3A and under division.
Pryor pole vaulter Scott Hill cleared 14 feet for the Tigers to set a school record and win the event by a full foot.
Jaquwan Blaylock swept the hurdle events, picking up victories in the 110 meters (15.84 seconds) and the 300 meters (42.97 seconds).
Glenpool won the team competition with 173 points, besting the Tigers (114 points).
For Adair, Kylie Looney and Callie Stephens claimed gold in the 800- and 400-meter runs, respectively.
The Lady Warrior girls 4x400-meter relay squad also finished in first place.
Chelsea edged Adair by four points in the team competition.
Three Warriors also finished first in boys' events. Trevor Brachtenbach won the 110 hurdles with a time of 18:36, Ty Cannady won the 200-meter run with a 23.32 mark and BJ Bradbury's high jump of 5 feet, 8 inches was good for a gold medal.
The Adair boys finished in fourth place as a team.
Chloe Maritz helped the Lady Warriors go 1-2 in the 400 meters, finishing second with a 1:06.10 time.
Brachtenbach almost made it a Mayes County sweep in the hurdle events, but finished second in the 300 meters.
