Aubrey, Holloway named student athletes of the month

PRYOR, OK — Yorktown Bank honors Pryor High School student athletes who excel in sports and academics. Students are selected monthly, receive recognition for their accomplishments and become candidates for the Yorktown Bank Athlete of the Year Scholarship.

The March Yorktown Bank Athletes of the Month were Casey Holloway and Karissa Aubrey.

Holloway is a senior and plays baseball. He is a member of the Leadership 2 Class, Student Council and president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). He is also involved in the Roosevelt Buddy Program with baseball.  He enjoys duck hunting, riding jet skis, going to the lake and spending time with family and friends.

After graduation he plans to attend Rogers State University to obtain a degree in justice administration through the Presidential Leadership Class Scholarship program.

Aubrey is a junior and plays soccer. She is a member of Prayer Club, Ballroom Dancing Club, Spanish Club and Leadership. She also participates in National Honor Society and State Honor Society. She is an active Children’s Teacher in Route 252 at Your Place Church (YPC), plays for 96 Miranda TSCH-Competitive Team, and an assistant coach for UII Select F.C. Girls.  

After graduation she plans to attend college and play college soccer and eventually become a coach. She plans to obtain a degree in physical education.
