VINITA, OK — The Adair Lady Warriors will take a four-game winning streak into the first round of the Coweta-Claremore Invitational Friday.

Adair (9-6) dropped Vinita 9-3 to go three games over .500, its best mark of the season.

Class 3A's No. 18 Lady Warriors will tackle host Claremore in their first of three opening day games at 10 a.m. Durant awaits at 1 p.m., and Class 4A No. 13 Claremore Sequoyah will take on AHS at 2:30 p.m.

Adair will be the smallest school in a tournament for the third time this year, including the rained-out Claremore Festival and Broken Arrow Tournament in mid-August.
