PAWHUSKA, OK —
Adair blew by Pawhuska 39-6 Friday to clinch its third-straight district title.
BJ Bradbury ran for a score and threw for three more in the first half to lead the Warriors, who pushed their record to 9-1 and a perfect 6-0 in District 2A-7 play.
James Eastin caught two of Bradbury’s TD tosses from 16 and 30 yards out. Hunter Rosebrough nabbed a 20-yard scoring catch as well to help Adair open up a 32-0 halftime lead.
Cody Yoder added a one-yard rushing touchdown and Ben Woolman ended the scoring with a 35-yard scamper in the fourth quarter.
The Warriors avoided a potential three-way tie with Nowata and Pawhuska to seal the win, their seventh in a row since a Week 3 loss to Millwood.
Adair will host Kansas in the first round of the playoffs next week. Should the Warriors win, they’ll host the winner of Okemah and Panama.
Pawhuska falls to 4-6 and into third place. The Huskies will travel to Salina for a first round game.
