Volleyball: Lady Cats lose close one to Westville

SALINA, OK — Salina's volleyballers fell to 4-9 on the year after a close loss at home against Westville Thursday.

The Lady Wildcats dropped the first set to the Lady Yellowjackets 25-17 before Westville stole the second frame, 25-23. Westville ended Salina's comeback hopes with a 25-21 third-set win.

The two squads are set for a rematch Saturday in the Lynn Schrum Memorial Tournament.
