PRYOR, OK — Let's just start calling the second inning "Tiger Time."

For the second straight game, Pryor scored seven runs in the second inning on their way to an 11-1 run-rule home win against district foe Durant Saturday.

Zack Hammock (5-2) threw four innings and allowed just one hit while striking out three Lions. Bradley Nixon got the save.

Pryor's pitchers have now allowed just one hit and zero earned runs in the last 10 innings.

After a quiet first inning, Durant got on the board first off of a Tiger error. Much like Collinsville Thursday, the Lions soon felt the sting of the Pryor bats in the bottom of the inning.

Third baseman Spencer Henson knocked in three RBIs, while Hammock went 2-for-2 with a pair of runs batted in. Hammock also had the Tigers' only extra-base hit of the day, his fourth double of the season.

Lead-off batter Casey Holloway swiped his 17th base of the season.

Rightfielder Nate Wolfe, first baseman Foster McCollough and Nixon all went 1-for-3 with an RBI on the day.

Pryor added one run in the fourth and three in the fifth to earn the requisite 10-run cushion for a run-rule.

Pryor, 12-8 on the season, faced Cascia Hall Monday before hosting Nathan Hale at 5 p.m. today in the first game of a home-and-home district series. The Tigers, 4-3 in district, will travel to Tulsa to conclude the series at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

The away district game with Durant, which was set for last Tuesday, April 2, but was rained out, has been moved to April 26 at 4:30 p.m.
