MIAMI, OK —
The Pryor golf team, led by a top-five individual score from Zac Baumert, had a strong showing in the Miami Invitational Tournament Monday at Peoria Ridge Golf Course in Miami.
Baumert finished with an 80 to pace the Tigers. Labette County (Kan.) ran away with the tourney title, scoring a 324, 19 strokes ahead of second-place Pryor (343).
Braden Page (77) and Austin Krewson (78) of Labette finished second and third, respectively, in the individual standings behind Trae Fairchild of Ketchum (74). Grove's Tyler Busch tied for fourth with a 78, while Baumert grabbed fifth place.
Ryan Ramsey (83), David Guinn (87), Jonathan Ragsdale (93) and Zane Rosebrough (94) rounded out the Tiger squad.
Grove placed third in the team standings with a 349, followed by Collinsville (350) and host Miami (353). Sixteen teams competed.
