Adair foils Pawhuska behind Looney's 28

ADAIR, OK — Adair junior Kylie Looney detonated for 28 points in a 77-36 dismantling of visiting Pawhuska Friday in a 3A district tournament title game.

Looney drained eight 3-pointers in three quarters of action to lead Adair (23-1) into the winners' bracket of its regional tournament at Sperry Thursday. The Lady Warriors will take on the winner of Saturday's Sperry-Newkirk game at 6:30 p.m.

Freshman Keni Jo Lippe scored 12 points and senior Bailey Stephens added 11 for the top-ranked Lady Warriors, who have not lost since Dec. 28, a 16-game span.

Molly Kerr and Madi Wengerd each chipped in eight points for Adair.

12 Warriors score in district blowout

ADAIR — A dozen Adair Warriors found their way into the scorebook in a 58-39 rout of Pawhuska in a Class 3A district title game Friday at Adair.

The Warriors (14-9) were led by Jereme McCollum's 14 points. Brock Martin was the only other Warrior in double-figures, with 10.

Adair will travel to Sperry Thursday for a first-round game in a regional winners' bracket. Adair will face the winner of Saturday's Sperry-Newkirk game at 8 p.m.
