AIT Friday Wrapup: Adair, Jay headed to title games

ADAIR, OK — The Adair boys overcame a 26-21 halftime deficit to topple Dewey, 63-47, Friday and punch its ticket to the Adair Invitational Tournament title game.

The Warriors (2-0) were led by BJ Bradbury's 20 points — all of which he scored after the break. Jereme McCollum added 14 for Adair.

The Warriors outscored the Bulldoggers 23-6 in the third quarter and coasted to the win in the fourth.

Adair will face the winner of Thursday's Jay in the title game Saturday at 8:30 p.m.

Lady Warriors cruise past Colcord

ADAIR — After a relatively slow start, the Adair girls cemented their spot in an Adair Invitational championship game with a 68-34 win over Colcord Friday.

The Kylie Looney-Keni Lippe combination came up big for the second straight game. The two combined for 29 points for the No. 1-ranked Lady Warriors (2-0). Molly Kerr supplied 11 points.

Adair ran roughshod over the Lady Hornets in the second half, outscoring Colcord 39-17.

Adair will face Jay in the title game Saturday at 7 p.m.
