TULSA, OK —
The Pryor boys endured their worst loss of the season less than a week after their biggest win, dropping a 79-52 decision at the hands of Class 5A No. 10 Bishop Kelley Friday night in a Metro Lakes Conference contest.
Pryor (6-8, 2-4 MLC) fell behind 42-20 at halftime and could not recover, despite a game-high 18 points from sophomore guard Anthony Martinez.
Kelley (10-7) picked up 30 points from the Limes brothers, JD and Josh, to complete the season sweep of Pryor. The Comets toppled the Tigers at the Burdick Center on Dec. 3, 71-52, and are the only team to beat Pryor by more than 10 points this season.
Robert Ross scored 13 points to aid the Tiger cause. Teammate Tyler Bradshaw added seven.
