Yeager, Loveall into Yukon finals

YUKON, OK — Two Locust Grove wrestlers will be in title matches Saturday at the Yukon Jay Hancock Invitational, while several others can still place in the top six.

Cub Yeager will face Putnam City's Keegan Moore in the 132-pound final Saturday. Yeager handed Kalani Gradle (Yukon) a 5-3 decision in the semifinal after claiming a 9-1 major decision from Sand Springs' Beau Bratcher.

At 285, Trey Loveall used an extra session to pin Jake Stinson, setting up a title match with Jenks' Marquise Overton Saturday.

Braden Bennett went 3-1 to move into a consolation bout with Deer Creek's Dayton West at 113. The winner will face Choctaw's Garrett Rowe for a spot in the third-place match.

Jake Niederbuhl will face Collinsville's Justin Walker in a consolation match at 126 pounds. Isaiah Woolman posted a 3-1 record to move into a consolation match against the Cardinals' Wyatt Jordan at 152.

Trevor Taylor's 3-1 Friday puts the 170-pounder in a Saturday consolation match against Deer Creek's Preston Stockton.

Trent Monk pinned a pair of opponents but lost a quarterfinal to finalist Cole Pacheco of Deer Creek. Monk will need two wins Saturday to move into a third-place match.
