CLAREMORE, OK —
Pryor dropped Claremore 41-24 in a District 5A-7 dual but fell to eventual district champion Coweta, 49-15, Tuesday in a district quad.
Coweta, now led by ex-Pryor coach David Gilstrap, swept the other three teams — Pryor, Claremore and Grove — in the quad by impressive margins. The Tigers topped Grove 54-24 and Claremore 68-6.
Pryor improved to 5-2 in duals on the year after slapping No. 14 Grove with a 50-30 loss in the final dual of the night.
Pryor will take on Tahlequah tonight at 5 p.m. Homecoming festivities will begin after the junior high matches.
