Tigerettes win second straight in overtime

TULSA, OK — The Pryor girls soccer team improved to 8-4 on the season and 4-2 in District 5A-3 with a 2-1 overtime victory at Metro Christian Thursday night.

Pryor topped Grove in a shootout last week before collecting a forfeit win from Nathan Hale Tuesday.

Pryor has been mathematically eliminated from hosting a playoff game for a second consecutive season but can clinch the third spot in the district with a win against Collinsville on Senior Night Tuesday.

Pryor's likely first-round opponent would be Coweta, which beat the Tigerettes earlier this season, or Cascia Hall, which eliminated Pryor in the first round last season.

Pryor's boys dropped their fifth-straight game Thursday, a 2-0 loss at Metro Christian.

The Tigers' season will end Tuesday at home against Collinsville.
