MIDWEST CITY, OK —
Pryor ended its fast-pitch season with a 10-1 loss to the top team in the state, Carl Albert, in a 5A regional tournament at Carl Albert Thursday.
The Tigerettes eclipsed Guthrie 9-7 in their first game to move into the winners bracket where they lost 10-0 to Carl Albert.
Pryor again edged Guthrie, 2-1, to advance to the final bracket, needing a pair of wins over the Lady Titans to advance to the state tournament. Carl Albert (32-1) had other plans, knocking the Tigerettes out of contention in the first of two potential elimination games.
Pryor ends the season with a 20-16 record. Outfielder Tayler Brooner was the lone senior on the 2013 softball roster.
