PRYOR, OK —
The Tigerette fast-pitch squad rolled Grove, East Central twice and Coweta in the early part of the week to improve to 16-11.
Pryor bit the Lady Ridgerunners 8-1 before snapping East Central with a pair of shutout losses in a doubleheader Monday. The Lady Cardinals absorbed a 19-0 loss followed by a 10-0 defeat in the nightcap.
The Tigerettes (8-5 District 5A-3) edged Coweta 5-3 Tuesday to avenge a 6-3 loss to the Lady Tigers Sept. 10.
The four straight wins helped Pryor shoot up the district standings and will likely grant the Tigerettes a berth in a regional tournament. Pryor, winner of six of its last seven games, has one district contest left, a Saturday date at Tahlequah.
