Pryor moves up in soccer rankings

PRYOR, OK — Pryor stayed in the rankings in both the boys and girls soccer polls, according to OSSAArankings.com.

The Tigerettes (2-1) stayed in the top 10 at No. 9, between No. 10 Claremore and No. 8 Durant.

Edmond Deer Creek received all nine first-place votes and led second-ranked Tulsa Edison by 22 points.

The Tigerettes will travel to Tulsa Thursday through Saturday for the Edison Tournament. Pryor will play Bartlesville in the first round Thursday at 1:15 p.m.

The Tiger boys (2-1) were three points out of the ninth slot in the boys' poll. Memorial and Del City tied for ninth with 44 points. Pryor had 42 in the 11th slot.

East Central (5-0) held onto the top spot.

Pryor will play the hosts of the Edison Tournament at 9:45 a.m. Friday.

Both Pryor squads will commence district play at home against Claremore April 1.
