Pryor boys win third-straight

COLLINSVILLE, OK — The Pryor boys basketball team used a strong defensive effort to win its third-consecutive game, a 53-50 overtime grinder at Collinsville Saturday, and improve to 4-4 on the season.

Pryor is now 4-1 since an 0-3 start to the season. The win, Pryor's first true road win, also pushes the Tigers to a 2-2 mark in Metro Lakes Conference play with a date against MLC foe Skiatook set for 7:30 p.m. tonight following the Tigerettes and Lady Bulldogs at 6 p.m.

The Tigerettes fell to 0-8 and 0-4 in the MLC with a 66-47 defeat at the hands of the Class 5A No. 6 Lady Cardinals Saturday.
