Woolman, Barth named to Tulsa World All-Metro squads

PRYOR, OK — Locust Grove senior offensive lineman Ryan Woolman was named to the All-Metro first-team by the Tulsa World last week, while Pryor junior quarterback Brennon Barth was named to the publication's All-Metro second-team.

Woolman's head coach, Matt Hennesy, was named the World All-Metro Coach of the Year.

Woolman and Hennesy combined to lead Locust Grove to a 12-1 record and its first district title since 1992.

Barth was the Pryor Times Staff Pick for Mayes County Player of the Year in 2013 after leading the Tigers to an 8-4 record and a state quarterfinal berth.

Adair's honorable mentions included freshman quarterback BJ Bradbury and senior linebacker Mark Campbell.

Locust Grove's honorable mentions included sophomore quarterback Mason Fine, the Pryor Times' Readers' Choice for Player of the Year; senior wide receiver Cameron McIntire, sophomore wide receiver Jason Pirtle, senior running back Cory Rohde and sophomore linebacker Trevor Taylor.

Pryor's honorable mentions included senior defensive lineman Alex McCammon and senior running back Matt McGouldrick.
