ARDMORE - The Pryor track teams competed at the state track meet Friday and Saturday, and grabbed a few medals in the process.
Katie Kerns was third place in the 1600-meter and the 3200-meter runs. Her times were 5:38.69 in the 1600-meter and 12:37.66 in the
3200-meter. She was also a part of the third place
4 x 800-meter relay team. The team consisted of Kerns, Christine Becerra, Rachel Sordahl and Jordan Schultz. Their time was 9:55.93.
Katie Kerns also
finished sixth in the
800-meter run with a time of 2:23.48.
Kassie Kerns finished fourth in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:43.38. She was seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.14.
Sammie Haff was 16th in the discus with a
distance of 82-11.
The Tigerettes finished eighth in the team
rankings with 29 points. East Central won the team title.
On the boys side, Weston Cox finished 10th in the high jump with a height of 5-06.
Matt Rosson was 12th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:07.06. He was also part of the 12th place, 4 x 800-meter relay team that also consisted of Marty Williams, Matt Ogg and Kevin Von Pritz Witz. Their time was 8:53.42.
Corbin Burchett finished 15th in the discus and 16th in the shot put. His throws were 111-10 and 40-09.5 respectively.
The Tigers were not able to collect any team points. East Central won the boys title.
