Josephine Coblentz, Mazie, died Feb. 3. She was 81. She was 81. She was born Dec. 31, 1931, to Orval Lee and Ergie (Roberts) Owen. She married Thomas Coblentz on Aug. 30, 1951, In Pryor, and was a member for the First Baptist Church in Mazie. She helped on the election board in Mazie for many years as well as helping her husband on the dairy farm. She enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Billy, brother Lewis Owen, sisters Patricia Burk and Ona Lee Richardson.
She is survived by husband Tom of the home in Mazie; children Stephen Coblentz and wife Janet, Deborah Bell and husband Dean, Sharon Harris and husband Cletus, all of Mazie; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Katherine Parks, Deer Park, N.Y., Lonnie Owen, Wagoner, Maxine Owen, Broken Arrow, Geraldine Dillingham, Wagoner, Jarret Owen and wife Patsy, Wagoner, Gerry Owen and wife Sharon, Mazie, Cherry Dry and husband Walt, Mazie, Tony Owen and wife Kathy, Wagoner; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services are 10 a.m., Feb. 6, in the First Baptist Church in Mazie with the Rev. Wallace Broyles and the Rev. Jess Dismore officiating and Ralph Miller speaking. Interment will follow in the Fisher Cemetery under the direction of Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home.
