Earlene Sue Anderson was born on March 29, 1957, in Locust Grove, to Clarence and Wilma Sue (Compton) Anderson. She died Thursday, July 25, 2013, in Locust Grove, at the age of 56.
Anderson graduated from Locust Grove High School with the class of 1975. She furthered her education by attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah where she earned a bachelor degree in special education. She lived most of her life in Locust Grove. She worked at Fabricut and Chouteau Nursing Home for some time. She also worked as a home health aide.
Anderson enjoyed going to the movies, fishing and visiting the zoo. She loved attending the circus and state fair. She enjoyed the music she would hear at the fairs and had a special love for Elvis music.
Anderson is survived by: one daughter Shanna Anderson of Locust Grove; two grandchildren Isabella Williams and Ashley Williams; two brothers Earl Anderson of Locust Grove and Ed Anderson of Four Corners; four sisters Kathleen Basden of Muskogee, Colene Anderson of Locust Grove, Joyce Farris and husband Doug of Peggs, and Darlene Walker and husband Troy of Four Corners; one brother-in-law Rick Walker of Peggs; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives; and numerous friends.
Anderson was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother Gary Wayne Anderson; one sister Aleen Walker; one brother-in-law Ron Basden; nephew Michael Rowbotham; and great nephew Jeremiah Thompson.
