PRYOR, OK —
Marie Arizona Donohue Hollingsworth, 93, died April 16, in Bentonville, Ark. She was born on Sept. 22, 1920, in South Coffeyville to the late William A. and Bessie S. (Moritzky) Donohue. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas Shelby Hollingsworth.
She was a kindergarten teacher in the Pryor Schools for 35 years at Roosevelt Elementary before retiring. She then served for several years in the Dallas Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting for her grandchildren and tending her roses and heirloom tomatoes in her garden.
She is survived by her son Thomas S. Hollingsworth II and wife Sandi of Oklahoma; brother Bill Donohue and wife Janet of Idaho; sister Joyce Orchard and husband Ted of Idaho; three grandchildren, Tom Hollingsworth III and wife, Samantha, Stephanie Walker and husband Dave and Christina Hale, all of Bella Vista, Ark., and Steven Florer and wife Robin of Abilene, Texas; nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband and eight siblings.
Her funeral service will be Friday, April 25, at noon, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pryor. Burial will follow at Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery in Pryor.
