PRYOR, OK — Marvin Monroe Wilson died Tuesday, April 15, surrounded by his family. The family respectfully requests a private family graveside service with arrangements under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Wilson was born May 6, 1925 in Chouteau, to James Lafayette and Rachel Catherine (Cheetwood) Wilson. He was married to, Gladys Irene (Combs) Wilson who passed away in August of 2012, for 68 years. As a carpenter he had a passion for inventing and construction. He enjoyed farming and the country life. He is survived by four sons: Marvin Gene Wilson and wife Janette, James Dale Wilson and wife Cindy, Ronald Christopher Wilson and wife Marilyn, Jeffrey Monroe Wilson and wife Bliss; three daughters: Bonnie Ruth and husband Frank Yamamoto, Connie Jo Kafka, Catherine Irene and husband Gary Smith; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; and many friends.
