Graveside services for Gale Perry, 79, Henderson Texas, formerly of Pryor, are
10 a.m. Thursday, May 9, at the Pryor Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Stephens Funeral Home.
Perry died Sunday, May 5, in Tyler Texas. He was born Aug. 9, 1933, in Cedardale, to Scott Winter and Louella Perry. He was a resident of Henderson, Texas, for 16 years, where he was a member of the First Church of the Nazerene. He was retired from Georgia Pacific paper mill, Pryor, and was a veteran who served in the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Gladys Shearer.
He is survived by his wife Eva Perry, Henderson Texas; daughters Vicki Hummingbird and husband Charles “Gabby” of Tulsa, and Rhonda Barrett of Cave Creek, Ariz., step-son Jimmy Joe Wilkerson and wife Stephanie, Tyler, Texas, step-daughters Joyce Allen of Pittsburg, Pa., Janet Jennings, Austin Texas, and Julie Carter and husband Roger of Georgetown, Texas.
He is survived by five grandsons, one granddaughter, four great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation is 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday May 7, at the Rader Funeral Home in Henderson, Texas.
