Graveside services for Edna Margaret Easley Stephens, 87, Tulsa, are 2 p.m. Monday April 29, 2013 at Vernon Cemetery, Coweta. Arrangements are under the direction of Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow.
Stephens was one of seven children, born Nov. 20, 1925 in Coweta to Louise Malcolm Easley and Mattie “Idell” Clark. She was married to Hugh “Cotton” Ellis Stephens in Coweta on March 24, 1941.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Hugh Stephens, her parents, Louis Easley and Idell Clark Easley, four brothers; Alvin, Robert,Earl and Howe Easley; one sister, Lorene Easley Jarman; two sons-in-law; Charles R. Gary & H. Wayne Massey, one grandson Clayton James Stephens; and one great-grandson Brent Michael Morrow.
She is survived by three children, N. Sue Massey and long time friend Rick Gutheridge, both of Tulsa; Bonnie L. Gary of Big Cabin; Roy C. Stephens & Kathi of Neosho, Mo.; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; one sister Viola Easley Hamilton of Broken Arrow.
