Patricia Martin Phillips, 83, a resident of Wakefield, La., died on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013. She was a retired former employee of CIBA-GEIGY, where she worked as a payroll supervisor.
Visitation is 11 a.m. until noon, Saturday, Aug. 17 at Grace Episcopal Church in St. Francisville, La., and is conducted by Fr. Roman Roldan. The funeral service is at noon. Burial is in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of nine years, Paul Phillips; one daughter, Colleen Martin Hill of Jackson, Miss.; two sisters, Gwen Wadley and her husband Harold of St. Maries, Idaho, Zoe Jarrett and her husband Bill of Tulsa; one brother, Gene Paul Burke of Tahlequah; and three grandchildren: Justus Joseph Michael Stamper, Gus Martin Hill, and Jean Marie Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lloyd Martin; daughter, Opal Ann Martin Stamper, and son John Ross Martin. Pallbearers are Charles Martin Palmer, Coby Ball, Mark Thomas, C.S. Hamilton, Cary Legget and Gus Martin Hill. She was a member and chairperson of the Altar Guild at Grace Episcopal Church.
