Long-time Langley Police Officer Mack Arthur Estep, Sr., died Friday, Aug 23. Estep was born in Dawson on Jan. 14, 1942, to Mack and Rosa (Hamilton) Estep. He married Victoria Pucik on Aug. 19, 1969. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, drag racing, flying, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a retired Mayes County Deputy and current Langley Police Officer. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Survivors include his wife Victoria Estep of the home; children Mack Estep Jr. of Pryor, Tammy Mills and husband Kevin of Virginia, Terry Estep of Langley, Rhonda Mizulo and husband Brent of Pensacola, and Scott Estep of Langley; sisters Armelda Gann of Owasso, Kittye Usher of Louisiana, Virgie Jones of Claremore, and Stoney McGeehee of Clarmeore; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and five sisters.
Funeral services are 3 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Langley First Christian Church with Pastor Joel Rutherford officiating. Interment will follow at Spavinaw Strang Cemetery.
