Four were pronounced dead at a wreck which occurred at 4:19 p.m. on US Highway 60 east of Wyandotte Sunday.
Two vehicles hit head-on.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Ford Mustang driven by Willis George Jr., 39, Webb City, Mo., was eastbound on Highway 60. He crossed the center line and struck a 2000 Ford Ranger driver by Spencer Anderson, 22, Fairland.
Willis had three passengers. Drake Cobb, 14, Garland, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene. Syrrena Sanderson, 13, Garland, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene. Maryssa Sanderson, 7, Garland, Texas, was taken by air ambulance to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Mo., in serious condition.
There was one passenger with Anderson. Samantha Delamatter, 19, Fairland, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Trooper Roy Parker’s report states the weather was clear and the road was dry. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. The passenger in the Ranger and two of the passengers in the Mustang were not wearing seatbelts. Air bags were deployed in both vehicles.
