Optimist Club looking for essays

— The Pryor Creek Optimist Club is having the annual essay contest.

The theme is: “How can I help my friends realize their value?” The Optimist Club will judge the local essays. Winners will receive medallions and participation certificates and the winning essay will be sent to the district level to compete for a $2,500 college scholarship.

The Optimist Club of Pryor Creek has been participating in the Optimist Essay Contest for 22 years and has been active in the community since 1990.
