Numbers climb, ticket sales skyrocket

PRYOR, OK — This year's Rocklahoma music festival had a staggering 60,000 people in attendance over the three-day event.

According to AEG Live executives, producers of the event, this number far exceeds previous years which ranged around 25,000.

This year's music fans heard 90 bands over the three-day Memorial Day weekend.

“"Rocklahoma 2014 was an astounding success. It was the biggest crowd to date, and the weather cooperated to give us an unforgettable weekend in Pryor.  We're already starting to plan 2015, and we're going to do our bestto top the experience, once again,” said Joe Litvag, co-executive producer for AEG Live.

In addition, concert goers had even more vendors, booths and attractions to enjoy. Official sponsors of the event included Monster Energy drink, Jagermeister, Bud Light, U.S. Cellular, Hard Rock Casino, Jack Daniels, Route 66 RVs, Roadrunner Records, Greer's Ranch House Sausage, Zippo, O'Reilly, Cracker Jack'd, Playstation, Yamaha, National Guard of Oklahoma and Vapor Hut.
