PRYOR, OK — Chouteau resident Travis Corbett is charged with a felony count of second degree burglary after he reportedly climbed in the window of a Chouteau residence.

Corbett, 18, is accused of breaking and entering a house on Kiowa Street with the intent to commit a felony.

When Chouteau Police Officers placed him in custody, he allegedly had a  grinder on his possession, constituting a misdemeanor charge of possession of paraphernalia. Corbett appeared via video conference from the Mayes County Jail for his initial appearance in the Mayes County Court Thursday. He was informed of his rights and that his felony count can carry from two

years to seven years in the Department of Corrections.

As this is what the assistant district attorney called, “a serious offense,” bond was set at $10,000.
