PRYOR, OK —
The Town of Locust Grove agreed to pay
several invoices and appointed a new assistant fire chief at their November meeting.
Trustees voted to approve the appointment of Nathan Willis as the new assistant fire chief for the department. Ray Vaughn was named the new fire chief in the October meeting following the retirement of Rob Foreman.
Trustees approved an expenditure of $249 from the Fire Equipment and Assets fund to pay for leather ID’s on the protective helmets.
In other business, trustees approved a take-home car for Officer Chris Buck. Buck has been with the Locust Grove Police Department since 2011.
Trustees approved payment of $539 to Anderson Tire for upkeep and repairs on a police cruiser.
The board approved a blanket purchase order not to exceed $500 to Boney Diesel and Auto for repairs.
