Applegate and Wilson have completed all of the required training and both will be involved with continuous training, such as an upcoming course in Pryor.
With the addition of the two men, Locust Grove Volunteer Fire Department will have 22 firefighters.

Police Dispatcher Tabitha Smith was given her 90-day review by trustees. Town trustees voted to make her a non-probationary employee, making her eligible for benefits and a 50-cent raise to $9.50 per hour.
Trustees tabled any action on sending Smith to Oklahoma Law Enforcement Telecommunications System school because there are no spots available at this time.
