Monday’s Pryor Municipal Utility board meeting was short and sweet.
The meeting was all about progress reports.
There was a discussion of insurance renewal. The proposal was passed pending the city council approval.
A progress report was made on the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project is still underway. A replacement backup generator is being installed. So far, the generator is mounted to the floor, but progress is still being made. The west side sewer extension was approved.
The proposed action to approve a direct deposit payroll option for MUB employees was passed.
There was no Building Inspector’s report this week.
Travis Willis was promoted from Apprentice Lineman Second Year with merit to Apprentice Lineman Third Year with merit.
