Five charged with trespassing

Pryor Times — Five individuals were charged with trespassing on railroad property, Monday.

Michael Creekkiller, 32, Pryor, was the first to appear in Mayes County District Court Monday. Creekkiller is charged with maliciously destroying railroad equipment and malicious mischief, misdemeanors. He was booked into the Mayes County Jail along with four co-defendants.

Creekkiller pleaded not guilty to  both charges and bond was set at $2,000 for each case.

“The state requests bond be set at $2,000 each as he was stealing copper from the fuse box on railroad property,” said Assistant District Attorney Glen Dresback, adding that the theft impacted railroad signals.

David Wisely, 29, John Wesley Veerhusen, 45, Brandon Wood, 29 and Sarah Fawcett, 22, were each charged with trespassing on railroad property. Wisely and Fawcett are from Sioux City, Iowa, Veerhusen is from Springfield, Mo., and Wood is from Camp Verde, Ariz.

All four plead guilty to the misdemeanor charges. Each were ordered to pay a $100 fine plus the court costs.

The arrests were made by the Pryor Police Department. Creekkiller has prior misdemeanor charges of public intoxication and driving under the influence of alcohol.
