Brand new baby boutique

PRYOR, OK — Two Pryor mama's have started a new business, a baby boutique called Peace, Love & Fluff.

Owner Megan Baisden is the mother of all boys, “five under five.” Baisden's sister, co-owner Molly Creekmore, has one girl and a boy on the way.

“So we know a little about babies,” said Baisden. “We use cloth diapers on our kids and there is nowhere to buy them locally, we have to drive to Tulsa or order them online.”

Baisden said she and her sister wanted to fill a niche in Pryor.

“There is nowhere else in Pryor that we found selling cloth diapers or all-natural baby products. This will be a great place for moms, and for anyone shopping for a baby shower gift,” said Baisden.

In addition, Peace, Love, & Fluff sells “teething bling,” baby leggings, baby blankets, wipe cases, headbands, accessories and more.

“This all came together really quickly. We knew we wanted to open a baby store. Our husbands own T&L Vapor Solutions across town, they've been open for a few months so we decided it's our turn,” said Baisden.

To make the shopping trip even easier for moms the store has a play room, and a nursing room.

“We know its hard to take kids, even babies, shopping. We aren't worried about kids touching things. We know it's easier to shop if they are occupied in a safe place to play,” said Baisden.

These mom entrepreneurs like to support others just like them.

“We really like supporting stay-home-mom type businesses. This line, Cedar Grove Sundries, comes from Catoosa. And this Balm Baby comes from a stay-at-home-mom entrepreneur in Hawaii,” said Baisden. “We really like the idea of carrying top-of-the-line products from other moms.”

The moms are more than willing to share their knowledge of cloth versus traditional diapers to anyone interested. The store is open 10a.m.-5:30 p.m on Mondays, 10 a.m.-3p.m Tuesdays through Thursdays, 10a.m-5:30 p.m on Friday and 11a.m-3 p.m on Saturday. Peace, Love, & Fluff has a Facebook page and can be reached at 918-418-1958.
