Stout requests approval for resignation

Pryor Municipal Utility Board discussed Walter Stout’s request for resignation in their July 21 meeting.

Stout requested that MUB approve his resignation as the flood plain administrator of the City of Pryor.

The board tabled Stout’s request until they receive an approved ordinance from

the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Gas crews completed a two-inch extension off Southeast 49th Street heading south 800 feet and east 700 feet. This stretch of line is to feed Lee’s property and future development.

They have made four new gas taps at 1995 Graham Place, 4979 NE First, 220 N. Ora and 3166 S. 432 Road.

Water crews continue to replace four-inch cast iron line on North Adair from Northeast First to Northeast Fifth. The crews have completed the taps in the 100 block. They have moved to Northeast Third and started laying the six-inch line north to Garfield Street.

Water crews finished a new six-inch water main south of 49th Street to give service to one new home and for future use. They repaired several long angles and replaced water cans in the system.

Sewer crews made new taps and replacement taps at 1000 Locke Street, 318 N. Indianola and 608 Ridgewood.

The generator at the south lift station is blowing out oil. South Plains has been called in to locate the cause of the problem.

The electric crews finished the Summerfield Place project. All lots now have power. The crews still have to bore under 29th Street.

and tie back in to the feed coming through Bowling Acres.

The electric crews repaired two underground faults at 420 N. Oklahoma and 1700 Woodhaven. They cleaned up trench ditches at Pryor Junior High School and the Summerfield Project.
