Hall sentenced in Day Care incident

The former co-owner of a Pryor daycare center was sentenced to 16 years in prison for two counts of child sexual abuse.

Scott Randolph Hall, 30, pleaded no contest to both counts and was formally sentenced Wednesday to 30 years, with 16 in the custody of the Department of Corrections and 14 years probation.

Hall was accused of committed a sex act in the presence of a 4-year-old girl in his care at Miss Donya’s Daycare.

The female co-owner of the daycare was asked to voluntarily close the daycare after the allegations surfaced and she complied.

Hall will have to register as a sex offender upon release, have no contact with minor children and no computer or Internet usage. While in prison, he will undergo sexual offender evaluation and assessment. He must pay a $500 fine and $100 to the victim’s compensation account.

A civil case is pending against Hall and his wife, Donya. The parents of the girl filed a negligence suit in excess of $10,000 plus punitive damages in Mayes County District Court against the daycare and its owners.
