Home destroyed by fire

The home of Leroy Branstetter on the Mayes / Craig county line was destroyed by fire Saturday. The blaze began about 6:15 p.m. and was discovered by a passing motorist on County Road 340. Fire departments from Carselowey and Ketchum responded. No one was home when the blaze began. Branstetter said a new hot water heater was installed that day and might have something to do with the fire.
