Delaware County school board president charged with rape

A Delaware County school board president has been charged with sexually assaulting two 14- and 15-year-old girls, District Attorney Eddie Wyant said Friday.

Tommy Hoover, 59, of Afton was charged in Delaware County District Court in Jay with second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree rape by instrumentation, two counts of forcible oral sodomy and one count of lewd molestation.

Hoover is Cleora School Board president and is free on $100,000 bail.
