First Mayes County baby of 2009

Jeremy D. Smith and Heather M. Stapleton Smith hold Kaabree Alajah Smith, who was the first baby born at Mayes County Medical Center in 2009. She was born Jan. 4. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 inches long at birth. Her big sister, Raini A. Smith welcomed her home. Grandparents are Laverna Stapleton-Smith, Salina and Virgil and Kim Dry, Kenwood. Paternal grandparents are Susan and Doug Chancellor, Kenwood and Dale Smith, Salina.
